Please note: any au pair working 2 hours or less per day (i.e. 10 or less hours per week) will have a salary calculated at the rate of R140 per hour.

Full day during school holidays & extras:                

3 – 4 hours extra per day R1 900.00                

5 – 6 hours extra per day R2 600.00   

Extra hours during school holidays + early times during school exams + availability to collect sick children from school early/stay home with them. R4 700 added to monthly salary.

Please note: Petrol used on behalf of the family is not included in the salary.
