OUR STEP-BY-STEP PLACEMENT PROCESS
Screening & Safeguarding
Every candidate is personally interviewed and verified before you meet them:
Documented childcare experience and qualification verification.
Written and telephonic reference checks.
Values, communication and safety mindset assessed in interview.
Criminal record and driving checks (on request).
Only shortlisted, role-ready candidates are introduced—no CV dumps.
Our Process from Here
1) Enquire & apply
You complete our online application or ask us to email the forms to you.
2) Clarify your needs
Once we receive your forms, we’ll contact you to fill in any gaps. On request, we’ll visit you in your home, to map out your family’s routine, values and must-haves.
3) Screening & shortlist
Every candidate is profiled to your unique requirements (in-person interview, assessments, reference checks). We send a small, targeted shortlist of suitable candidates —no CV dumps.
4) Meet your matches
We confirm and set up interviews. Then, you’ll receive each candidate’s full pack: detailed application, CV, reference letters, certificates and any other relevant documents. If the perfect match isn’t available immediately, we keep searching diligently until we find them.
5) Trial time (recommended)
Invite your preferred candidate for a 1–2 hour visits with your children to confirm the “click.”
6) Final checks & selection
We conduct telephonic/electronic reference checks but would also encourage you to speak to selected referees directly, especially on areas that matter most to your family.
7) Offer, contract & start
Once your placement is confirmed, the au pair becomes your employee. We provide a complimentary employment contract, so expectations are clear from day one.
8) Ongoing support
We don’t place and disappear. We’re available to support both your family and your au pair throughout the relationship.
